Lab45, designed by Wipro’s Innovation Lab, is available to both Wipro employees and its clients. The platform operates on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, providing access to cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs) from leading providers alongside custom deep learning and other AI models.
A key feature of Lab45 is its seamless integration of language and visual processing. This allows users to generate images based on text descriptions and offers functionalities like content indexing, parsing, and summarization.
Furthermore, Lab45 boasts pre-built no-code and low-code applications for various business functions, including HR, sales, marketing, and operations. Additionally, the platform facilitates the creation of industry-specific GenAI agents and applications.
Wipro highlights the ease of integration with Lab45 through its API-based access for custom applications. This aspect is exemplified by Topcoder, a Wipro platform connecting businesses with a global talent network. Since October 2023, Topcoder has leveraged Lab45’s APIs, resulting in a significant seven-fold increase in GenAI usage.
Wipro also emphasizes the positive results observed during a six-month pilot phase where select teams and external users experienced substantial time savings and productivity gains while using the Lab45 AI platform. The launch of Lab45 signifies Wipro’s commitment to driving innovation in the AI domain and empowering businesses to unlock its potential for enhanced efficiency and transformation.
