Galaxy S24 Series A Milestone Driven by AI Innovation
Galaxy AI is soon setting to launch, spanning multiple device categories beyond smartphones. The business plans to leverage artificial intelligence to improve digital health and provide people with intelligent health experiences through Galaxy wearables. The company unveiled the Galaxy Ring, its first smart ring, during the unveiling of the Galaxy S24. The Galaxy Ring is scheduled to go on sale in the second half of 2024.
With a plethora of Galaxy AI capabilities. Such as real-time call translation, Photo Assist, wallpaper generation, Circle to Search, Chat Assistant, and more, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones back in January. With a recent software update, Samsung gave the Galaxy Buds2 and Buds2 Pro AI capabilities. It is now official that a future software update will enable. Some of these Galaxy AI experiences on the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 devices.
On compatible smartphones, Galaxy AI functions will be free of charge until 2025. Similar nomenclature applies to third-party AI features.
Samsung Galaxy Ushering in the Era of Mobile AI
Roh claims that the incorporation of AI into phones is a revolution and that smartphones will soon take the lead as the main device used to access AI. Galaxy AI helps people communicate beyond borders, complete everyday tasks easily, and so much more. Says Roh in reference to the technology. yet “We’ve thought a lot about how this new and exciting technology can enhance our lives and inspire society’s next steps.”
In terms of AI, Samsung has adopted a mixed strategy; certain experiences rely on cloud computing. While others are powered by on-device computing. With its AI capabilities, Roh positions the Galaxy S24 as the phone of the future on his blog. He also touches on the topic of intellectual property and the fact that “AI models in training are still susceptible to hallucinations.”
