The Africa Bitcoin Conference 2025 was a three-day gathering of the continent's Bitcoin community in Port Louis, Mauritius, from 3 to 5 December.
The Africa Bitcoin Conference, known as ABC, is a yearly meeting of people working on Bitcoin and related "freedom tech" across Africa. The fourth edition took place in Port Louis, Mauritius. It was announced to open at the Caudan Arts Centre and close at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel.
The speaker list was mostly African founders, educators and developers, alongside human rights advocates. The organisers said sessions would cover financial inclusion, peer-to-peer payments, mining, education and policy.
