Crypto Fest is run by Bitcoin Events, the company behind the Blockchain Africa Conference in Johannesburg. The eighth edition is a single day of talks and networking at Workshop17 Watershed in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town.
The 2026 programme is built around four streams: the meeting of AI, Web3 and data, AI agents that hold wallets, digital identity, and the growing role of central banks and institutions in crypto. The day mixes expert talks with networking time.
