Africa's largest Bitcoin gathering comes to Malawi.

The fifth Africa Bitcoin Conference brings the continent's Bitcoin and freedom-technology community to Blantyre, Malawi, for four days.
The Africa Bitcoin Conference describes itself as Africa's largest gathering of the Bitcoin and freedom-tech community. It moves around the continent: earlier editions were held in Ghana, Kenya and Mauritius, and the fifth takes place at the Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre, Malawi's commercial capital.
The focus is on Bitcoin as a practical tool in African economies: remittances, savings in countries with weak currencies, Lightning payments, community circular economies and mining with stranded renewable energy. Human rights and open-source development run through the programme as well.
