Senegal's Bitcoin forum returns for a fourth edition.

Dakar Bitcoin Days is a two-day forum in Dakar, Senegal, devoted to Bitcoin and its uses. The organizers describe it as the main Bitcoin-only event in French-speaking Africa.
Dakar Bitcoin Days has run since 2022 and the organizers say each edition has drawn about 350 people on average. The fourth edition takes place at SEANEMA, the cinema at the Sea Plaza in Dakar. Earlier editions included talks in French, English and Wolof.
The first day looks at how public institutions and central banks are approaching crypto assets. The second day is about decentralized cross-border payments and what they could mean for trade inside Africa. The organizers say the forum only covers Bitcoin and related technologies.
