On March 11, Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister Pema Khandu opened the Gyati Taka General Hospital in Ziro. S-ituated in the Lower Subansiri district, as a pilot project for a telehealth facility powered by Artificial intelligence (AI).

Locals, healthcare experts, and government representatives attended the launch event held at Gyati Taka General Hospital. In expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Chief Medical Officer Pema Khandu emphasized. That it has the potential to transform healthcare delivery in Tawang as well as Ziro.

CM Khandu praised the occasion as a significant accomplishment in a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account. He underlined the revolutionary potential of the AI-powered telehealth in Lower Subansiri center, saying it will completely revolutionize the accessibility and caliber of healthcare in the area. The goal of the pilot project is to make advanced medical consultations and services more accessible to locals, especially in rural areas where access to healthcare has proven difficult.
