Swell is Ripple's annual conference on bringing traditional finance on chain. The 2026 edition in New York merges with Apex, the XRP Ledger developer summit, for the first time.
Swell has been Ripple's flagship event since 2017, and it has always been aimed at banks, payment companies and regulators more than at traders. It returns to The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York for three days.
This year Ripple has folded Apex, the XRP Ledger's developer summit, into Swell, so institutions and builders share one event. The programme is expected to run to more than 50 sessions and 75 speakers across three stages, with over 1,500 attendees.
