Bitcoin Beach opens its circular economy summit to the public.

A two-day summit in El Zonte, El Salvador, where people running Bitcoin circular economies around the world share what works. 2026 is the first edition open to the public.
Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte is the community project where local shops began taking Bitcoin for everyday purchases. For two years its Circular Economies Summit was a closed working session for project leaders from El Salvador, Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
In 2026 it becomes a public conference for the first time, with limited seats. The two days are made up of workshops, panels and fireside chats on merchant adoption, education and the tools behind everyday Bitcoin payments, and the organizers say sessions end before sunset.
01
The summit was a closed-door meeting in its first two years and now opens to outside attendees.
02
It takes place in the beach town where the Bitcoin Beach project started.
03
The programme is built from workshops, panels and fireside chats instead of long stage keynotes.
04
Confirmed names include Jeremy Almond of Paystand and Gerardo Linares of Bitcoin Berlin SV.
