Lugano's Plan ₿ Forum is a two-day Bitcoin conference by the lake, run by the city itself together with Tether as part of its plan to make Bitcoin part of daily life.
Plan ₿ is a joint initiative of the City of Lugano and Tether to bring Bitcoin into everyday use in the Swiss city, where it can be used to pay in shops and for city services. The Plan ₿ Forum is its annual conference, held at the Palazzo dei Congressi on the lakefront and now in its fifth edition.
More than 100 speakers are expected, with talks in English. The 2025 forum drew over 4,000 people from 60 countries. Alongside the main stage there are workshops for beginners, networking events and a closing party on Lake Lugano.
