European Blockchain Convention was a two-day digital asset conference in Barcelona. Its twelfth edition was held at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in September 2026.
The European Blockchain Convention, or EBC, is a Barcelona conference aimed at banks, asset managers, regulators and the crypto companies that work with them. The twelfth edition took place on 16 and 17 September 2026 and moved to the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya.
It was the first edition held with the EU's MiCA rules fully in force, and regulation and its review were a main thread. The second day turned to practical uses such as tokenized money market funds, collateral, custody and trading, with a BaFin official among the speakers.
