Consensus was CoinDesk's flagship conference for crypto, finance and technology. The 2026 edition was its first in Miami and ran for three days at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Consensus has been running since 2015 and is one of the best-known industry conferences in crypto. In 2026 it moved to Miami for the first time, taking over the Miami Beach Convention Center from 5 to 7 May.
The programme mixed main-stage interviews with a hackathon and the CoinDesk PitchFest for startups. Sessions that CoinDesk later highlighted included a fireside with Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, a keynote by Michael Saylor and a conversation with CFTC Chairman Michael Selig.
