SmartCon 2025 was Chainlink's two-day conference at The Metropolitan Pavilion in New York. It focused on tokenised assets, payments and how banks and market infrastructure use blockchains.
SmartCon is the annual conference of Chainlink, the oracle and interoperability network. The 2025 edition took place on 4 and 5 November at The Metropolitan Pavilion in New York, with speakers from financial institutions and market infrastructure providers alongside crypto teams.
Chainlink used the event for product news. Its own recap lists the launch of the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), described as an orchestration layer for smart contracts that connect to outside data and other chains, among the main announcements.
