Role Overview
FalconX is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Blockchain to contribute to a new and in-demand product line. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in implementing critical blockchain infrastructure that supports major chains and protocols. The position involves architectural design, scaling and operating services, driving innovation, integrating blockchain data into the platform stack, and collaborating with engineering and product leadership to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities
Architectural Design
- Drive the design and implementation of the Web3 stack across major chains and protocols.
- Strive for generalization across blockchains, ensuring ease of integration.
Operational Excellence
- Scale and operate robust services for customers to interact with various blockchains.
- Innovate by safely adopting and testing new technologies and products in the blockchain space.
Product Development
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product leadership to plan, estimate, and prioritize new products and features.
- Rapidly iterate to add new functionality while ensuring the highest quality.
Technical Expertise
- Provide subject matter expertise on the blockchain ecosystem and in-house implementation.
- Ensure technology is designed and built around customers’ needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven technical leadership in blockchain technologies.
- Experience shipping and maintaining multiple projects with a large user base.
- Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, Go, Python, or equivalent languages.
- Strong understanding of different consensus protocols.
- Experience building robust backend services at scale.
- Familiarity with cryptographic signing algorithms, asymmetric cryptography, and key management is a plus.
