About the Job
As a Chapter Leader for Fidelity Digital Asset Management (FDAM) technology teams in India, you will play a crucial role in designing and building end-to-end solutions. You will collaborate closely with business users, AM Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver a best-in-class product supporting the FDAM business.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users, AM Architecture, and Engineering teams to design and build solutions for FDAM technology teams.
- Provide strategic direction and execute the multi-year product roadmap in partnership with key team members globally.
- Influence and support product, delivery, and technical practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
- Lead multiple squads, managing priorities and providing technical expertise for the team.
- Inspire and tap into the expertise of the engineering team, driving innovation and contributing to business value through scale and efficiency.
Skills Required
- Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade distributed applications
- using Java/J2EE technologies. Knowledge of PL/SQL and experience with AWS Cloud is advantageous.
- Ability to triage and manage business impact due to production issues.
- Understanding and application of fundamental design principles for scalable, low-latency, high-throughput distributed applications.
- Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
- Advocate for best practices in engineering excellence and promote a DevOps mindset.
- Relevant experience with cloud computing and emerging technologies like Blockchain and DLT is an advantage.
- Experience working with Agile teams and a thorough understanding of SCRUM @ Scale principles.
- Effective influencing and communication skills to lead a high-performing technology team.
- Prior experience collaborating with offshore technology and business partners.
