Job Title. Senior Data Scientist
Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for.
- Implementing techniques to acquire, discover, and explore unstructured data (Text, Images, Audio, Video) for analytics, with a focus on unstructured data analytics.
- Conducting POC/POV and prototyping data and analytics solutions to assess viability.
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and completeness throughout the data lifecycle.
- Defining data validation strategies, pre-processing, and feature engineering strategies.
- Testing, training, fine-tuning models, and deploying models in production.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate data into metrics, KPIs, and provide solutions.
- Developing a deep understanding of data sources, implementing data standards, maintaining data quality, and managing master data.
- Designing and developing data services and APIs using vision and Deep Learning frameworks.
- Building and meeting project timelines, managing delivery commitments, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Collaborating and communicating with key business lines, technology partners, vendors, and architects.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science/Statistical Modeling & Analysis/Operations Research.
- At least 4+ years of development experience in Python and Deep Learning.
- 2+ years of experience in AI, ML, Deep Learning Technologies.
- Solid understanding of Python libraries for machine learning.
- Good understanding of Computer Vision/Image Processing and Deep Learning tools & techniques. Skill with Microsoft Custom Vision or Roboflow platform is a plus.
- Previous experience in at least 2-3 Image processing use cases on object detection, tracking, classification, recognition, scene understanding using Keras/Tensor flow/PyTorch frameworks.
- Strong programming background with proficiency in Python and OpenCV.
- Past working experience in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with MS Azure cloud.
