A Hong Kong court has mandated the disclosure of financial details pertaining to the operation of Mantra Chain. This order stems from the ongoing legal battle between Mantra DAO, Inc. and RioDeFi, its infrastructure host. The dispute involves allegations against former RioDeFi employees of misappropriating funds and business from Mantra.

Stéphane Laurent, co-founder of both RioDeFi and Mantra, initiated legal proceedings against defendants John Patrick Mullin, William Corkin, Jayant Ramanand, and Rodrigo Quan Miranda in early 2022. The court’s decision made public on August 12, requires the defendants to divulge Mantra’s financial records dating back to January 2021.

According to their LinkedIn profiles, the defendants were all co-founders of Mantra DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization that subsequently transformed into Mantra Chain. The court’s order marks a significant development in the case, potentially shedding light on the financial intricacies of Mantra Chain and aiding in the resolution of the dispute.
