Breakpoint 2025 was the Solana ecosystem's three-day flagship conference, held at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi from 11 to 13 December.
Breakpoint is the main yearly conference for the Solana blockchain, organised by the Solana Foundation. Teams use it to announce upgrades and new products. The 2025 edition took place at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi and was the first Breakpoint in the Middle East.
Media coverage put attendance at more than 7,000 people from over 100 countries. Reported news from the event included the Firedancer validator client going live on mainnet and the announcement that Breakpoint 2026 would be held in London.
