The Ethereum developer conference comes to India.

Devcon is the Ethereum Foundation's conference for the people who build Ethereum. The eighth edition is in Mumbai, the first Devcon in India.
Devcon is the Ethereum Foundation's own conference, and the one the Ethereum community treats as its annual family gathering. It is deliberately not a trade show: the talks are technical, the stages are given to researchers, client teams and application developers, and there is little selling.
Devcon 8 takes place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex. The Foundation picked India for the size and growth of its developer community: the country has more than 17 million developers on GitHub and has been the largest source of new crypto developers since 2023.
Expect four days on the protocol roadmap, layer 2s, zero-knowledge proofs, account abstraction, security and public goods, with community hubs and hacker spaces running alongside the talks.
01
Core developers and researchers explain where Ethereum goes next, in their own words.
02
Sessions on scaling, cryptography, security and developer tooling, not sales pitches.
03
Open spaces run by communities for workshops, meetups and hacking.
04
A chance to meet the country's large and fast-growing Ethereum community.
