Two days on keeping DeFi protocols safe, held just before Devcon.
DeFi Security Summit (DSS) is a technical conference for people who secure blockchain applications. The 2026 edition is in Mumbai, two days before Devcon opens.
DSS brings together security researchers, protocol builders and tool providers who work on making blockchain applications safer. The organisers say it is modelled on security meetings such as CCC and Defcon, and all talk and workshop submissions are reviewed by security specialists.
The summit has held four earlier editions, in the United States, France, Thailand and Argentina. The Mumbai edition offers two days of technical talks and workshops at the Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport. It needs its own ticket, separate from Devcon.

It runs on 1 and 2 November, ahead of Devcon 8 in the same city.

Talk and workshop proposals are reviewed by people working in security before they are accepted.

The two days combine technical talks with practical workshops.
