Coinbase has successfully resolved the Solana transaction backlog that had been causing significant delays for users. The issue was caused by an increase in network traffic after “Official Trump” (TRUMP), President Donald Trump’s memecoin, was introduced on the Solana blockchain.

The backlog led to prolonged transaction processing times, with some users experiencing delays of up to 21 hours. Coinbase acknowledged the issue and actively worked to address it.

In an update posted on X (formerly Twitter), Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong confirmed that the backlog had been resolved and encouraged users with previously canceled transactions to retry them. He also apologized for the inconvenience caused by the delays.

While the Solana network itself remained operational, the congestion primarily affected Coinbase users due to the high volume of transactions related to the TRUMP memecoin launch.

Coinbase’s swift resolution of the issue demonstrates its commitment to providing a seamless user experience despite the challenges posed by network congestion.
