Validation Cloud has launched its Mavrik-1 AI engine on the Hedera network, with the goal of making decentralized finance (DeFi) data more accessible via natural language searches. This deployment addresses the challenge that, despite DeFi comprising over half of on-chain activity, its data remains complex and inaccessible to many users. Mavrik-1 makes use of live on-chain data, allowing people to interact with DeFi protocols without having technical competence. The engine is trained on data related to DeFi, stablecoins, and other blockchain applications, facilitating real-time insights into metrics like total value locked (TVL) and decentralized exchange volumes.

Validation Cloud’s concept reflects a broader trend of merging artificial intelligence with blockchain technology. The convergence of AI with Web3 intends to improve trust and reduce adoption barriers, as the sector is expected to reach $15 trillion by 2030, according to LeewayHertz, an AI development company.
Ernst & Young highlighted that AI and Web3 could mutually address each other’s shortcomings, with Web3 providing AI with decentralized trust and AI offering Web3 improved usability.
The launch of Mavrik-1 is part of Validation Cloud’s ongoing efforts to make blockchain data more accessible. The company plans further integrations later this year, continuing to bridge the gap between complex blockchain data and everyday users.
