The recent announcement of a Trump-branded crypto wallet has ignited confusion and controversy within the cryptocurrency community and the Trump family. Both said that on June 3, Magic Eden, a prominent NFT marketplace, and the team behind the $TRUMP memecoin unveiled plans for the “Official $TRUMP Wallet.” However, this initiative was swiftly disavowed by President Donald Trump’s sons, who asserted that neither the Trump Organization nor the family had any involvement in the project.
Donald Trump Jr. clarified that the Trump Organization “has zero involvement with this wallet product” and that he was unaware of its existence. He mentioned that the family’s crypto platform, World Liberty Financial, is preparing to launch its own official wallet soon. Eric Trump echoed this sentiment, stating that the wallet “is not authorized by Trump” and cautioning Magic Eden against using the family name without approval. Even Barron Trump made his first public statement on X (formerly Twitter) to emphasize the family’s lack of involvement.
The Trump Organization has zero involvement with this wallet product. @EricTrump and I know nothing about it. Stay tuned—World Liberty Financial @worldlibertyfi, which we have been working tirelessly on, will be launching our official wallet soon. https://t.co/h1wO7dy6AX

The situation has been described as “absolute chaos” by crypto skeptic Molly White, highlighting a breakdown in communication among Trump-affiliated crypto ventures. The Trump Wallet website claims it is the “Official $TRUMP Wallet by President Trump,” developed in partnership with GetTrumpMemes.com, owned by Fight Fight Fight LLC. This company is co-owned by CIC Digital LLC, affiliated with the Trump Organization, and together they hold a majority of the $TRUMP token supply. Businessman Bill Zanker, associated with both entities, has been instrumental in launching the $TRUMP memecoin and related NFT collections.
