Claude, a large language model developed by Anthropic, is now available as an additional option for developers using GitHub Copilot. This integration allows developers to leverage Claude’s coding capabilities directly within their Visual Studio Code and GitHub.com environments. Claude 3.5 Sonnet, the latest version of the model, has demonstrated exceptional performance on benchmarks like SWE-bench Verified and HumanEval, showcasing its ability to generate high-quality code and accurately understand and respond to natural language prompts.
