The former employee linked to the alleged exploitation of pump.fun for $1.9 million asserts that they were arrested and charged in the UK and are currently out on bail.

The individual, identified as “STACCoverflow” and confirmed as Jarett Dunn confessed to the attack on May 16. Dunn purportedly utilized a privileged position to gain access to withdrawal authority and compromise the protocol’s systems.

In subsequent posts on May 18 under a different account, Dunn claimed to have spent a night in custody following allegations of stealing $2 million by the pump team. He also mentioned being accused of conspiring to steal an additional $80 million and being released on bail while being placed under mental health care.

Dunn stated that he is currently hospitalized and posting from an iPad provided by the hospital. He indicated that his mental health is under scrutiny, and he might not be fit for police questioning until after his bail if deemed mentally fit.

Despite being a Canadian national, Dunn claimed that he had been contacted by his local embassy, which provided a list of lawyers to his family. However, he stated that he cannot communicate with them until he recovers his devices, some of which have been seized.

Dunn mentioned still having his passport and not being cautioned by authorities against leaving the country. He allegedly had reported to a police station on August 15 and claimed that a private intelligence company had been hired to locate him in London.

In another post, Dunn encouraged UK citizens to press charges against a company allegedly associated with pump.fun, claiming that his bail conditions prohibit him from contacting the firm and its CEO.

Neither pump.fun nor the private intelligence firm reportedly involved in locating Dunn responded to requests for comment.
